Singer model Frankie Pangilinan expressed her dismay over the explanation given on the Manila Bay white sand project. The white dolomite was allegedly covered by black sand. “Puro kasinungalingan po iyong lumabas na nag-washout po yung white sand natin. Ang nangyari po talaga wash in, pumasok po iyong itim na buhangin at pumatong po sa puting dolomite,” said DENR Undersecretary Benny Antiporda.
On Twitter, Frankie likened the statement to the famous Karate remarks made by Mister Miyagi in the movie “Karate Kid” when he was teaching Daniel LaRusso.
