Gretchen Fullido and crew get into an accident while covering the election, assures netizens of their safety

She then assured her followers that she and her crew were all safe apart from having neck spasm upon check up.

“We did X-rays and the doctor said, both Kuya Oca and I had Cervical Spasm (neck spasm) because of whiplash which was inevitable because of the impact of the crash. We were given painkillers and anti nausea medicine. I’m still very thankful that we were protected by our Lord God and it was nothing major. Accidents really happen. The doctor advised us to get some rest and observe our necks. Knowing that we needed every person in our news team to cover, I still tried my very best to work online to get Halalan 2019 stories. Thank you also to the kind doctors and nurses who attended to us earlier. To everyone who voted, campaigned, volunteered, covered and did election related activities, I hope you all had a safe Halalan 2019. Now that the ballots are being counted, let’s all pray for the candidates and may God bless the Philippines ????

While covering for Halalan 2019, a garbage truck hurriedly backing up rammed into our parked crew cab as we were about to jump off to our next location. The impact was strong and the back of our crew cab was damaged. I was at the back seat and I really felt my head & neck jolt. Thankfully, me, my cameraman Kuya Oca and our piloto Bonifacio were not badly hurt. We still tried to cover but had to go to the hospital because we were a little dizzy and we were feeling pain on our neck. Always better to be safe, right? We did X-rays and the doctor said, both Kuya Oca and I had Cervical Spasm (neck spasm) because of whiplash which was inevitable because of the impact of the crash.
