Julia Barretto reveals getting emotional over her ‘healing’ trip: “I had to let go and surrender”

She then thanked the people who have made her ‘healing’ trip possible including her mom Marjorie Barretto.

“I am most thankful to @angelydub of @accesstravelph whom I ran to, to help me fix a trip that will heal me. I trusted her every step of the way and inspired me throughout the whole trip. She took me to places I never knew I needed to see, to feel and to experience

And of course to my mom @marjbarretto, who did not stop me for a second no matter how terrified I knew she was— without letting me know or feel it. For allowing me to spread my wings and learn to fly and for letting me see the world through my very own eyes

May this year be the year of getting out of our comfort zone, surrendering and most of all

living,” Julia added.

Self love, self care and self discovery. These are the three things I wanted to achieve jumping into this trip. As soon as the plane took off, I cried non stop for awhile because I knew I was getting out of my comfort zone. I was going to be away from the people I love and hope to share the experience with. It wasn’t easy but I knew from that moment on, I had to let go and surrender. It was time to prioritize my well being and my own healing I’ve always been the girl to put the people I love first to the point of almost losing myself in the process… I knew that I needed to gift myself with time and space and rediscover who I really am, who I want to be and go back to my core I am most thankful to @angelydub of @accesstravelph whom I ran to, to help me fix a trip that will heal me. I trusted her every step of the way and inspired me throughout the whole trip. She took me to places I never knew I needed to see, to feel and to experience And of course to my mom @marjbarretto, who did not stop me for a second no matter how terrified I knew she was— without letting me know or feel it.
