The mother earlier wrote an open letter to Ellen using her Facebook account, asking the actress to make a public apology for causing them “unneeded stress and unwanted attention”.
The actress has not responded to the request which prompted the mother to file a lawsuit against her.
Ellen earlier posted photos and videos of Eleila on her Instagram stories taken at a ramen house with the caption “When you PAP us, we PAP you too!” and accused the teenage girl of taking photos and videos of her and John Lloyd Cruz who was also there.
