Jodi Sta. Maria on why she practices acupuncture: “By healing an individual we can heal a community”

Last month, I underwent training in #Dumaguete under NADA Philippines to be certified as an Acupuncture Detoxification Specialist. Sharing with you some photos of the community health clinic we did there. Sobraaang nag enjoy ako to be with the people of Looc and to be of service to them. My favorite part (bukod sa actual needling) is the intake interview – where I get to know the service users on a more personal level and interact with them. I really believe that by #healing an individual we can heal a community. I hope and pray more provinces will welcome this kind of affordable and cost effective treatment to their community. Aside from becoming a certified Acupuncture Detoxification Specialist, Jodi is also taking BS Psychology in in Southville International School and College.
