“As we take a vacation, I thought to treat my household staff to a vacation, too. Meet my secretaries Juliet and Maricel, my animal welfare assistant Mark, my drivers Ninoy and Jing, messenger Ricky, and household helps Teresa, JP, Gerlan, and Jesselyn. A day at the beach will never be enough to repay all that they’ve sacrificed. But its a small gesture that hopefully makes them feel loved and cared for.”
Imagine the hours they spend on us? A lot, right? We can repay them in many ways. Give them health benefits, paid vacations, free tickets to a movie, overtime pay, a gift on their birthday, a gift for their child to take home, maybe a raise? If deserved, why not?
